These terms govern your use of PlayMetric ("the platform"), operated by PlayMetric ("we", "us", "our") at playmetric.co.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using PlayMetric, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

The Platform

PlayMetric is a sport growth platform for running tournaments, managing leagues, and tracking player ratings. We provide the platform on a "free to start" basis, with optional paid features.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You may not create accounts for others without their consent.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use PlayMetric only for lawful purposes related to sport organisation and management. You may not:

  • Use the platform to harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or other users' accounts
  • Upload malicious code or interfere with the platform's operation
  • Scrape or collect user data without permission
  • Use the platform for any purpose unrelated to sport management

Content and Data

You retain ownership of any content you create on PlayMetric, including tournament data, match results, and player information. By using the platform, you grant us a licence to store, display, and process this content as needed to provide the service.

We may use aggregated, anonymised data to improve the platform and for research purposes.

Availability and Changes

We aim to keep PlayMetric available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

Limitation of Liability

PlayMetric is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes.
